PREMIERE a WORLD to SHAPE

Ton van Zantvoort’s new documentary a WORLD to SHAPE premieres on September 8th at 19.30 in Natlab, Eindhoven. The film is also screening in Pakhuis de Zwijger  (free tickets available) on September 14th with an Q&A with Ton van Zantvoort, Nienke Hoogvliet and curator Jeroen Junte.  October 17th in Lumiere, Maastricht. During Dutch Design Week, the film can be seen in Natlab on Sunday October 23rd at 16.00 and on Wednesday October 12th, 22:38 a WORLD to SHAPE will be broadcast on AVROTROS / Close Up. The film will have its USA premiere in the end of September at the Architecture and Design Film Festival in New York. There are several screenings in the United States and Canada.

About the film:
a WORLD to SHAPE is a 52-minute documentary about two Dutch designers  Nienke Hoogvliet (1989) and Dave Hakkens (1988). How do they tackle the major problems of this world through design? For more information about the film and screenings, visit the website: a WORLD to SHAPE.
The film is produced by Elbe Stevens Films in co-production with AVROTROS. This production was realized with the support of CoBO, Brabant C, Omroep Brabant and the Pictoright Fund.

September 10th another film by van Zantvoort (a TRAVELER’S GUIDE)  premieres at the 24th Film by the Sea film festival.
