In November, three of our short documentaries from the Art Parade Binnenhof Renovation will be broadcast on NPO 2 Extra, and a WORLD to SHAPE will be re-aired on NPO 1. We are also developing the Teledoc Of Man and Mouse, The Penny Waffle House, and finalizing our feature-length documentary CUSTOMER JOURNEY.
Art Parade Documentaries
During the Art Parade Binnenhof Renovation, several artists create temporary works while the Dutch Parliament complex undergoes renovation. For each art project, we produce a short documentary in which the artist’s vision, creative process, and execution merge into a cinematic whole. The final two documentaries will premiere on the big screen on Tuesday, November 4 at 16:00 in Filmhuis The Hague. All films will also be broadcast on NPO 2 Extra on November 4, 5, 6, and 7 at 22:30. The first edition, about Tirzo Martha, will be shown on November 4 (this one was not produced by us).

Ton van Zantvoort follows artist Aukje Dekker who brings together twelve brass band members and twelve singers from different provinces for a one-time performance without rehearsal or direction. An experiment about connection and letting go, commissioned by the Dutch House of Representatives.

In collaboration with Naomi White, we made a documentary about artists Margit Lukács & Persijn Broersen as they create their animated opera film, inspired by lion bones found beneath the Buitenhof. With music by Bram Kortekaas, commissioned by the Ministry of General Affairs.
GRANITE

Theatre and music director Arlon Luijten is followed during rehearsals of GRANITE, a musical and theatrical performance that takes audiences and makers through a form of relationship therapy with the rule of law. Created and performed by 15 young people, commissioned by the Council of State. The documentary was made in collaboration with Cleo Julia Mullis.

Our new feature documentary CUSTOMER JOURNEY is nearly finished and will premiere in mid-April 2026, followed by screenings in selected cinemas. The film follows newcomers navigating the Dutch civic integration process—from bureaucracy to housing—with a warm, observational, and sometimes darkly comic perspective.

A documentary project in development by director Catherine van Campen. She is researching a feature-length film about mice in a high-tech laboratory for cancer research. The project has been selected for further development within TELEDOC, a collaboration between CoBO, the Netherlands Film Fund, the NPO Fund, and NPO.

A film in development by Lisa Grooters, where people who feel they belong nowhere else, with opposing backgrounds and beliefs, find support in art and in each other. How do they manage to live together in harmony here, while the world outside becomes increasingly divided?
