Of Men and Mice is a documentary set inside an animal research laboratory. It explores the unequal power relationship between mice, a species that is genetically remarkably similar to humans, and the people who use them for scientific research. The film exposes the tension between our determination to defeat cancer and our moral responsibility to protect animals from unnecessary suffering and pain, while examining the profound ethical questions that arise from this conflict.
