PREMIERE ON 25th CINEMAMBIENTE ITALY
Our new documentary a TRAVELER’S GUIDE premieres on Sunday June 12th at 21.30 in Italy at the 25th CinemAmbiente film festival. The film is part of the panorama section and Ton van Zantvoort will be present for a q&a online. The CinemAmbiente Festival was founded by Gaetano Capizzi in 1998 in Turin. The festival presents the best international environmental films and documentaries and contribute to promoting cinema and ecological culture, with several activities throughout the year. The Festival is a founder member of the GFN (Green Film Network), an association gathering the most relevant international film festivals ecologically themed. Later this year the film will screen in the Netherlands.
About the film:
a TRAVELER’S GUIDE is made with footage shot by Ton van Zantvoort between 2008 and 2015 during his travels all over the world. The film is made in collaboration with Josefien van Kooten who did the editing together with Nicole Hálová. Also thanks to Joost Seelen for coaching them in the context of the Next traject, Olivier Nijs for the sound design, Amarte foundation and all sponsors who supported in the time when the material was shot: Gemeente Breda and BKKC (now Kunstloc).
