SCREENING UPDATES

Our documentary, a WORLD to SHAPE is on the schedule for some special screenings. Join us in Oosterhout, where the film is screened alongside a delicious 3-course dinner. You can reserve your ticket here.
We’re also honored to have our film featured at the INNF Innsbruck Nature Film Festival. It’s a festival that holds a special place in our hearts, especially since our previous work, SHEEP HERO, received recognition with two awards, for best film and best cinematography out of the hands of Christian Berger, the cinematographer of “Das weiße Band” by Michael Haneke, who was in the jury. Ton van Zantvoort was invited to join the jury this year for the short films, but unfortunately he couldn’t attend the festival, and we sincerely apologize for this.
Additionally, we’re pleased to announce our participation in BIFED in Turkey (Bozcaada International Festival of Ecological Documentary), a festival that has been supportive of our work over the years, having screened several of our films, including SHEEP HERO and a BLOOMING BUSINESS.

Our documentary, a TRAVELER’s GUIDE, which had its debut at CinemAmbiente in Italy and Film By The Sea in the Netherlands, continues to find its audience. It’s currently in competition at the 13th Ecofest in Romania.

SHORT NEWS

  • In addition to NEWTON film BV, we’re proud to announce the establishment of the NEWTON film foundation, with our producer Annerose Langeveld also serving as the foundation director. We extend our thanks to our dedicated board members, Etienne, Koen, and Marcel, for their unwavering support in making this initiative a reality.

  • Ton van Zantvoort is currently working on a new feature documentary, exploring a challenging approach to the new integration process for status holders in the Netherlands. The film, produced by Annerose Langeveld/ NEWTON film, will also include an impact program.

  • The short Teledoc Campus documentary, ANIMA by Josefien van Kooten and Anna Witte, is already showing great promise, and we can’t wait to share it with you. While it may take a few more months to complete, we’re thrilled with the progress.

  • Over the next few years, we’ll be producing a series of short documentaries in collaboration with talented young filmmakers, highlighting various art projects by renowned artists.
